Wide Bay Veterans Spring Carnival to go ahead!
The Wide Bay Veteran Golfers Spring Carnival – from 29th August to 16th September – is to go ahead in spite of other carnivals being cancelled because of restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Carnival is based around the golf courses on the Fraser Coast, and as well as golf, there is much to see and do in Bundaberg, Maryborough, Bargara, Hervey Bay and the surrounding areas. Click Here… for more information.
Unfortunately, the first two carnivals of the Three-Carnivals Sunshine State circuit have been cancelled for 2020, due to the restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic. The Wintersun Carnival was scheduled for 3rd to 11th August, but will be back in 2021, bigger and brighter than ever. Click Here… for more information.
The Tropic of Capricorn Carnival, scheduled 17th to 25th August, has also been cancelled, but the 2021 carnival will be worth waiting for. Although the Carnival has been cancelled, many of the golf clubs in the Capricorn region are holding their individual Club Veterans Opens in the next few months. Click Here… for more information.
