Vets Golf resumes in 2023
Opening Day for the Veterans’ 2023 Golf Season will be held on Monday 6th February. The competition will be a Mixed American Foursomes sponsored by AAA Mining Consumables (John James), with an overflow for the men who are unable to find a lady partner for the day.
A field of 125 players, 29 Ladies and 96 men, played in the two events last year. The winners of the Mixed American Foursomes were Fluff and Toni Woolcock with a score of 66.75 points and the winner of the Mens Stableford was Greg Langtree with a score of 35 points.
At the presentation following the competition players were treated with Nibblies and the day’s sponsor, John James, very generously provided free drinks to the value of $600.
