The final Carnival – the Wide Bay Veteran Golfers Spring Carnival – runs from 29th August to 16th September. Based around the golf courses on the Fraser Coast, there is much to see and do in Bundaberg, Maryborough, Bargara, Hervey Bay and the surrounding areas. Click Here… for more information.
Of course, if you fancy exploring more of North Queensland before playing in Wintersun, there are many golf clubs with active and friendly veteran groups in most of the larger towns, so you can sneak in a game in between taking in the sights from the Daintree, Port Douglas, Atherton Tableland, the Cassowary Coast, Townsville and Magnetic Island and more, including the shooting location of the movie “Australia” – the city of Bowen.
